I hope March is treating you kind so far. I’m chillin.

Jumping right into my skincare routine – I kept seeing so many Glam and Glory Products in the stores when I’m grocery shopping, but I – much like you, was scared to try them out.

I recalled loving them so much when I had won a few products during my participation in Miss Malawi and thought I could give them another try. I went out and got a whole damn hamper to try out – and it has been working out perfectly for me so far.

I use the products twice a day so they fit right well with my morning and night time routine.

1. FaceWash

First are the FaceWashes. I find the FaceWash really good for make-up removal. I use the facewashes in the evening if I wore make up that day.

I alternate with, of course, my trusted blacksoap every morning. I also use the blacksoap after the facewash in the evening – not because I don’t trust the Glam and Glory Facewash but because I feel their healing properties complement each other.

2. FaceScrub

My favorite Facescrub next to Glam and Glory FaceScrubs is St. Ives scrub. In all honesty I can’t tell the difference between the two and that is a major win to me.

I use it thrice a week. It is very exfoliation but not too harsh on the skin.

3. Face Creams

I trust these two babies when it comes to moisturising my skin. I have to admit I was so reluctant to try them out as what I was trying out before was working so well. The acne cream came at a great time because I had three major breakouts on my skin that I wanted to test it out on. The instruction show that it is a targeted cream and I did just that.

I used it twice a day applying it directly to my lesions and in three days my skin was clear. Talk about a win!

My acne scarring is disappearing too thanks to the Snail White lotion. I will give a full review for that very soon.

4. Skin Lightening Creams

*cringe*

I’m cringing right along with you lol. I do not bleach my skin so I super sideeye everything that says skin lightening.

I took a major chance with the lotion the first time I got it and was pleased with the result. I have protein allergies meaning I get a lot of spots on my arms and back. These creams worked majorly well to clear the spots and did little to no lightening where my skin was its original colour. In lightening, the products basically target the areas where there has been discoloration.

The best part, there is no hydroquinone in these products! I say yes.

    I would like to try out the snail lotion. I had bad breakouts last year that left some acne scars and I’ve been trying to find this snail lotion here in Zomba but I can’t seem to find it anywhere. I would so so love to try it out!

So far my favorite is the snail white lotion….I have always had issues with my face but after some guy who owns a cosmetic shop intown advised me to try the snail white lotion I was reluctant because I have tried several products but then I changed my mind like let me just try whatever happens we will see and accept the results…so just 3 days ago I got the cream and started using it had a very bad breakout on my forehead and cheeks but now they are clearing I can actually see the results and now am yet to try the scrubs and the washes cuz I just fell in the love with the products

    I truly love everything but I would love to try the the snail lotion, when I have a bad pimple breakout I can’t seem to get rid of the black spots and so far I think I have tried everything but nothing seems to work so hopefully that will be my magic… Reading your blog has helped Glam and Glow is no longer my fear ….

    1. My face is very oily, lots of pimples, scars just like wounds everywhere, am fade .currently just bought glam and glory snail white lotion and soap ,am using them am yet to see the results and also aloe vera face scrub.

    Yep I’ve also always cringed when I see “skin lightening” tags on glam & Glory bottles..but I’m grateful for this review cause it clears up alot of things for me..I would love to try the acne clearing lotion..I’ve been struggling with acne since I was 10 and my family always said it’s puberty but I’m 19 now 😢 and I’m still struggling..I’ve tried every skincare product from ponds to Johnson’s to clean & clear, Himalaya but nooothing 😕 I honestly just want to go makeup free some days but I can’t cause of my acne so I usually dab on concealer..i saw your last skincare product post on Dudu black soap but its so expensive in blantyre.. i really just wanna enjoy having no acne on my cheeks.

    I would love to try everything, I have had pimples almost half of my life 10 years or so it’s emotionally draining to cover up acne with make up every day. Recently cucumber scrub has been my favourite because it leaves my face clean and no skin irritations have happened so far, I pray it continues that way…. I would really love to try the snail white lotion to clear up the scars and blemishes I have my face, and believe me you have opened my eyes to a new truth I normallyrun away from skin lightening creams because of my passion to retain my skin colour

  7. My favorite is the cucumber scrub… I had a very oily skin.. Which result into whiteheads… You know whiteheads and makeup dnt chill lol…. Then some friend mentioned up the scrub…i was like I should try it out…. But I doubted them with the cheap price…so I bought it anyways…. And it works wonders OMG….until then.. I always use this scrub no matter what… I would definitely recommend it to anyone struggling with whiteheads…

    I would like to try the snail lotion, the anti- acne cream, the apricot scrub and the lemon and bearberry face wash. At the beginning of this year I broke out because of stress. I went from okay skin to terrible skin. I feel so embarrassed to walk around without makeup. People always look at me funny and I get really hurtful comments like ‘ you shouldn’t walk around with make up’ ‘ what’s wrong with your skin? ‘ and the classic one ‘ so it’s the makeup that makes you look pretty? ‘

    I just want my skin back to normal. I want it to glow and get back to its tone . I will be getting the black soap soon to try out to.

    Its strange I just sort of bumped on your story and swipped up. Out of curiosity I had no idea what this was about.
    I laughed out loud when I found out you are talking about Clam and glory products, I have NEVER used them before😂😂.
    About 4 hours ago on my way home from town I decided to pass by PTC because I remembered am out of bathing soap. I am really not into beauty products and I must admit I don’t use anything on my skin apart from Protex soap and Hoity Toity lotion.
    Long story, couldn’t find the Protex I use so I ended up where they put Blame and Glory products and I picked the 9 in 1 fair complexion soap. Used it, my skin feels moisturized. My skin usually gets really dry after a shower if I don’t apply lotion, today it just feels perfect!!!!!! Am triggered 😊😊😊

    Have used the Glam and Glory Aloe Vera Scrub for close to 6 months now and just admit I love the way it cleanses my face and body. I actually feel lighter and cleaner after using it. Would like to try the skin lightening cream as I have dark spots but was scared it would make my whole body lighter.

    A while ago i bought the aloe vera face scrub but hasnt been really helpful so two days ago i bought the snail white lotion am hoping it will give me the results i need, or if at all you can suggest what i should try, cause my skin is a combination of try and oily skin, its oily on the T zone and very dry in my cheeks and i get alot of acne breakouts in my cheeks and even on my forehead so i was hoping if at all there is a remedy for such skin on glam and glory… please suggest what i should use.

But after been told by on of my friends about it I have bought the product yesterday… I hope it will give me good results since I have always had pimples and black spots on my chin.     1. No they do not lighten the skin. Most of the products from my experience do not lighten skin. Rather then just even out complexion
