Let me breathe

Hey Hey!

Here is a poem by one who is ‘A smol bean type of a human in search of peace, knowledge and love. I would like to think of myself as an empath , a womanist and a nature lover.’

Let me breathe

Let me breathe, said my desires.
Don’t keep me chained within the walls of isolation.
Don’t ignore me like a call from an unwanted guest.
Don’t give me up for him who can’t satiate you.
Don’t hush me and hide me in the closet.
Relieve me from the shackles of impurity.
Don’t let the societal hands choke me.
Let me breathe, for it’s about time we speak.
