Redefining Mentorship | VISIBLE WOMEN

As I reflect on my journey as a creative and an entrepreneur – I can’t help but think of how far mentorship has brought me – all the wonderful mentors who have taught and uplifted me on my journey, and all the stars who I have been privileged to have mentored, most of whom have also taught me a lot in my journey.

Read about my recognition by the Wealth Malawi Magazine as an entrepreneur making an impact in Malawi here.

Looking forward to a conversation with the Visible Women Agency about mentorship. I will be joining Gayle Kabaker and Paola Martínez Fiterre (award winning Cuban artist) for an epic talking circle, and we will be sharing ourexperiences growing from mentors & cultivating/becoming mentors. I will be sharing on my experiences with the value of mentorship, as a creative entrepreneur, but also as a woman.

Pen + Brush is working with Stacey Yael of Visible Women who will curate a series of talking circle’s that will explore women’s empowerment and agency.  These prevalent ideals are deeply engrained in Pen + Brush’s history, the foundation of Visible Women and Kabaker’s portraits for the Vital Voices book project. Stacey Yael will be hosting the talk with Dawn Delikat (Executive Director of P+B)

As we get ready for Fall and re-focusing of energy, let’s get together & talk about mentorship! Let’s explore why we seek it, dispel myths, and tap into our inner reservoirs which can lead us to discover NEW MENTORS‼️ We can also celebrate Kabaker’s 9th New Yorker cover!

Doors open 6:30 Talking Circle 7-8 Mingle 8-8:30
