Creativity and Innovation

for Development through Advocacy

The Ntha Community Foundation uses creativity and innovation to advocate for social/development progression through strategic communication.

Vision

To be a bridge between development researchers and creatives – to create informative content that champions social change, creates businesses, and curbs unemployment.

Mission Statement

To support the youth in the intentional use of their creative talents – helping them build their brands and creating more job opportunities for other young creatives.

“Ntha” is short from “Nthanda”. “Nthanda” means “morning star” in Chichewa. Our goal is to identify stars (young creatives) at dawn, and support, train and mentor them on ways they can channel their creativity skills/talents in digital spaces as entrepreneurs.

They do this by working alongside the By Ntha Media, profiling people and organisations doing various types of development work, ranging from advocacy to lifestyle and travel.
